Some good information about Fibromyalgia that is written in plain english. Many in my own family don't understand it. With Fibromyalgia Awareness Day coming up on May 12th, I thought I'd do what I can to help others grasp why I can be such a whiner.
The King - the love of my life who has stood by me through all of my trials with mostly patience and understanding. He is the rock that encourages me to keep doing whatever I need to in order to feel better. He doesn't let me give up and picks up the slack when I am out of commission.
The Prince- our oldest son. He is a great kid even with all the teenage angst. He is slowly coming to an understanding of what fibro does to me instead of just focusing on what those words have done to him. There still beats the heart of my compassionate boy under that teen exterior.
The Princess- Our only daughter and a little mother to her brothers. She is of great help to me. She is beautiful, talented and sweet. She is also mature beyond her years. Her heart is huge.
The Jester- He keeps us laughing with his antics and knows just when I need a hug. He is intense and funny, loving and hard working. He is most like the King in personality.
The Little Prince- The baby whose personality is blossoming more each day. He is smart, musical and loves being the youngest. His feet or hands are rarely still when music is in the air. His latest motto is "It's ok to sing if you feel like it".
